Do you know someone who should be nominated?
Since its doors opened in August 1990, Toronto Business Development Centre has assisted more than 4,000 entrepreneurs. Over the years many have been successful in the development and growth of their business venture… some as graduates of the incubator, some as training program grads and some as graduates of both. Through hard work and perseverance, they have become self-sufficient, contributed to local economic development and created new jobs in the community.
On May 5, 2010, TBDC will be hosting the second annual Awards Gala to recognize the achievement of many of its graduates. TBDC Awards of Excellence will be presented in five categories:
- Excellence in Community Impact
- Excellence in Perseverance
- Excellence in Innovation
- Excellence in Youth Entrepreneurship
- Excellence in Entrepreneurship
The Awards Guidelines and Application Form will give you the details of the awards criteria and the application process. Please take a minute to review the guidelines. If you know of a deserving TBDC graduate business, please nominate them by simply calling TBDC at 416.345.9437. In addition, if your business achievements match the eligibility criteria, we encourage you to apply for one of the awards.
Over the next few months, there will be more information about the TBDC Awards Gala. We hope you will be able to support this initiative by joining us as we celebrate our outstanding graduates through the TBDC Awards of Excellence.
